Subject Environmental Waste

It has been brought to my attention that your company is failing to hold up to their mission of providing a safe and ecofriendly environment for the community. Since changing to for-profit corporation, your company has failed to improve the ways that environmental waste is being handled. According to B Lab©. (2013), whether being taxed as a C or an S corporation your mission must be to “create a positive material impact on the society and environment” and provide a public benefit assessment report based on a “third part objective”. As of today we, the community, have not yet seen this report and we need to ensure that the enormous amount waste that is being generated is being handled properly.

We understand that the cross-over to a for-profit corporation just took effect so we are willing to give you a maximum of 45 days to have an assessment completed by Patagonia® or Method® to confirm that your company is in fact providing social and environmental benefit to the community. Once the compliance is verified, we the community, will not have a problem voting for your company to remain a for-profit corporation.
